Primary Responsibilities Include:

Provide tools, strategies and best in class service to establish repayment behaviors with customers

  • Develop and negotiate payment plans, while adhering to all legal regulations and compliance requirements
  • Keep detailed records of all customer communications, payment plans that customers have agreed to, and amounts paid
  • Performs maintenance, research and resolution on past due accounts
  • Ensure appropriate written correspondence is generated and sent to customers
  • Access database information, pulling up credit reports, and locating other publicly available records in adherence to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
  • Achieve department KPIs for calls to customers and payment arrangements, while meeting all quality guidelines
  • Identify and recommend improvement opportunities to all collections/recovery specific platforms, systems and tools to support operational effectiveness, improve customer experience, and to remain at the forefront of technology in the collections space
Qualifications:

The Collections Team Manager, reporting to the Director of Servicing Operations, is responsible for staffing and managing the efforts of a collections team, delivering on the department’s performance goals, providing consistent and timely coaching to staff, while promoting a positive and inclusive environment throughout the department. The Collections Team Manager will work with other business areas and senior management to improve business practices and the customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Provide strong leadership in a rapidly growing and rapidly changing business environment

  • Maintain effective collections practices to promote customer repayment activities, while adhering to all legal regulations and compliance requirements
  • Manage, coach, and develop people
  • Identify and implement procedures to ensure efficient workflow in the processing and handling of delinquent accounts

The Kapitus Servicing Operations Team (Customer Service & Collections) is a high performing department focused on innovation and collaborating with other departments to provide best-in-class performance products and services to our customers. The Operations team is building a strong team culture and is focused on using data and technology to deliver operations excellence to our customers, employees and investors. The Business Analyst is responsible for all aspects of data integrity and decision making, including data mining, data generation, analysis and reporting. This individual will provide direct analytics support to the VP of Operations, Chief General Counsel and the COO, in order to evaluate and transform data to support best in class servicing and recovery strategy.

The key responsibilities for these roles include:

Senior Systems Administrator, Microsoft 365

Position Description:

As a Senior Systems Administrator at Kapitus, you will be focused on helping our company scale through the effective use of Microsoft 365 services. Position Description:

As a Salesforce Administrator for Salesforce at Kapitus, you’ll be helping our company scale by helping us get the most value out of our Salesforce CRM implementation. This will help Kapitus continue to help small business owners find lending options so they can make payroll during tough times, hire to meet market demands, and making large purchases to scale their operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary administrator for our Salesforce CRM environment.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop business and technical requirements
  • Proactively recommend enhancements, critically review feature requests, and add to our backlog of work.
  • Train new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
  • Lead configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration of Salesforce CRM with other systems.

Test Automation Architect

Position Description:

As a Test Automation Architect at Kapitus, you’ll be helping our company release software more efficiently and effectively by creating and maintaining test automation frameworks.   • Architect one or more test automation platforms as needed to encompass integration, end-to-end, functional, contract and performance testing.
  • Lead an organization-wide file migration to OneDrive and SharePoint.
  • Work closely with the existing test automation team to incorporate the test automation that is already in place and being developed..
  • Aid developers in the adoption and utilization of any test frameworks as they take over test case development.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise within the test frameworks and adjust them as necessary to meet development software needs.
  • Identify any gaps in the test automation strategy and recommend tools/frameworks to incorporate into the current solution.

Senior Data Scientist

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build predictive models including but not limited to credit risk, marketing, fraud, and offer acceptance propensity
  • Perform through testing and validation of models and support various aspects of the business with data analytics; I.e., experience with data and model governance
  • Identify new data sources/patterns that add significant lift to predictive modeling capabilities; ideally come in with existing knowledge about relevant datasets/services, to leverage
  • Research, design, implement and validate cutting-edge algorithms/models to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes; I.e., be up to date on data science research (papers and libraries); be able to build and evaluate models yourself

Credit Underwriter

New York NY

Position Description:

The Credit Underwriter will underwrite all new merchant applications to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and risk standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for full cycle underwriting of assigned small business financing
  • Determine the ability of the merchant to repay financing based on analysis of the client’s cash flow statements, tax returns, and other financial information
  • Perform detailed financial analysis on the small business, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information to determine credit quality and cash flow adequacy
  • Perform credit analysis and financial statement analysis on co-owners, guarantors, and individuals to determine assets coverage for requested loan amounts
  • Provide recommendations for approval, or declines of merchant applications
  • Communicate decisions effectively in both verbal and written communication
  • Perform other due diligence as needed to determine the creditworthiness of a small business owner
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or comparable area of study
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a financial institution underwriting small/medium size businesses
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to read and assess individual and company financial statements, cash flow, credit reports, and other financial documentation.
  • Proficient in various spreadsheet, word processing, and CRM applications
  • Basic knowledge of credit principles, lending operations, loan research, and general credit policies

We deliver our credit products through a network of partners, offering the equivalent of a bank loan but through a technology-enabled process that can deliver capital in as little as 2 business days. Our standard product is a fixed rate, short term working capital loan with no prepayment penalties. Because we use our own capital, we employ risk-based pricing to lend to businesses with varying credit profiles and for various purposes – working capital, inventory, capital improvements, expansion of facilities, acquisitions, ownership related events, and equipment purchases.
